You did the work, the platform shows the balance, and then the money just sits there. This is common for people in Pakistan, and the cause is usually one of four things.
1. The platform does not pay to your country
Every platform keeps its own list of countries and payout methods. A method that works in one country may be missing in another, and the lists change. The only reliable source is the payout or withdrawal settings inside your own account.
2. The method exists but is limited
Some methods let you send money but not receive it, or need extra verification before they unlock. A bank transfer may be listed but fail because the name on the account does not match the name on your platform profile.
3. Minimum thresholds and clearing periods
Many platforms pay only once you pass a minimum balance, and some hold earnings for days after a sale or order is completed. A small balance can take months to reach the threshold if you do not plan for it.
4. Tax and identity forms
Platforms based in other countries often ask for tax details before they release payments. Leaving this half finished is one of the most common reasons for a stuck payout.
What are your options?
- Use a method the platform offers directly to a Pakistani bank account.
- Use a payment account that the platform supports and that can pay out locally.
- Work with a payout service that collects the payment and pays you in rupees. If you choose this route, read our safety checklist first.
